Your images never leave your device
The Grid Maker processes all images entirely in your browser. We do not upload, store, or transmit your images, screenshots, EXIF metadata, or any derived data to any server. Exported files are generated locally and downloaded directly by your browser.
Local storage
To let you resume work after a refresh, projects are saved locally using IndexedDB on your device. This data stays on your device and can be cleared at any time from within the tool. Browsers may clear local storage under their own privacy rules (for example, Safari's Intelligent Tracking Prevention after 7 days without interaction).
Analytics
We may use analytics to understand aggregate product usage. Analytics scripts are only loaded when the corresponding production environment variables are configured — local development without those variables loads no analytics scripts.
- Plausible (or Cloudflare Web Analytics as a fallback) for cookieless, aggregated page views and product events. These tools do not set cookies for analytics and do not collect personal profiles.
- Google Analytics 4 (optional) for traffic and event metrics when a Measurement ID is configured. GA may use cookies or similar identifiers as described in Google's documentation.
- Microsoft Clarity (optional) for anonymized session insights (e.g. heatmaps) when a Clarity project ID is configured. Clarity may use cookies as described in Microsoft's documentation.
Product events never include file names, image content, thumbnails, OCR text, EXIF/GPS data, or image hashes — regardless of which analytics tools are enabled.
